Items Hub

Items are the currency of survival and the merchandise of prosperity in Fell & Sell. Everything you haul from the dungeon can either equip you for deeper runs or stock your shelves for gold. This hub covers the item ecosystem end to end.

Shop displays, racks, and Comfort pieces are on Furniture. Demo 2.0.1 turned furniture drops into scrolls; 1.0.1 granted the exclusive demo reward.

Weapons

Weapons determine how quickly and safely you can clear dungeon floors. The Weapons guide covers every weapon category, their damage profiles, move speed trade-offs, and which ones are best for selling versus personal use.

Armor

Staying alive is a prerequisite for every other goal. The Armor guide covers the armor tiers, the defense versus mobility trade-off, and how to balance your loadout for different dungeon depths.

Crafting recipes

Crafting transforms raw dungeon materials into significantly more valuable items. The Crafting Recipes guide provides the full recipe list — what materials each recipe requires, what the output is worth versus its components, and which recipes offer the best profit margins for a shopkeeper.

Loot evaluation

Not all loot is worth carrying out. The Loot and Rarity guide in the Dungeon hub explains rarity tiers and how to make the split-second decision between selling on the spot and dragging it home.

The How to Make Money guide in the Guides hub explains how to integrate crafting into your broader economic strategy.

The Best Starter Builds guide covers which starting gear sets to prioritize based on your preferred playstyle.

Item quality and rarity tiers

Every item in Fell & Sell has a rarity tier that determines both its sale value and its effectiveness when equipped. The tiers, from most common to most rare, are: Common (gray), Uncommon (green), Rare (blue), Epic (purple), and Legendary (orange). Higher tiers are harder to find in the dungeon but command dramatically higher prices in the shop.

When evaluating loot during a run, rarity is your first filter. Common items are rarely worth carrying out unless you are severely underfunded. Uncommon and Rare items are the backbone of early-game income. Epic and Legendary items are worth dragging out even if it means cutting a run short.

Item durability and repair

Some equipment in Fell & Sell has durability — weapons degrade over use and armor accumulates damage. Durability affects performance: a weapon at low durability deals reduced damage, and armor at low durability provides less defense. You can repair items at the shop using gold and crafting materials. The repair cost versus replacement cost calculation is part of the long-term economics of shop management.

Shop storage and inventory limits

Your shop has limited shelf space, and your character has a limited carry capacity during dungeon runs. Managing these two constraints simultaneously is one of the core strategic challenges of the game. Weaker items you intend to sell compete with rare items you intend to equip or bank. The Pricing Guide has a section on when to sell raw versus when to hold items for a better market window.

Key items and quest items

Some items in the dungeon are quest items — they have no market value but are required to unlock specific content, access certain areas, or complete Quest Board tasks. These items are indicated by a special icon in your inventory. Never sell quest items, even if they seem worthless — the Quest Board rewards for completing quest chains are substantially higher than the raw sale value of the items themselves.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Should I sell my raw loot or craft it first?

Generally craft whenever a profitable recipe exists. Crafted items sell for significantly more than their raw components, but some low-value loot is not worth the crafting materials or time.

What is the best weapon for beginners?

The starting sword is solid and versatile. As you find better loot, prioritize weapons with good damage-to-weight ratios for your preferred combat rhythm.

How do I read item rarity?

Item rarity in Fell & Sell follows a color system. Higher rarity items are both more valuable to sell and more powerful to equip. Always check rarity before deciding to bank or sell.
